Kirra dominates in the pool and conquers the ocean!

Shoalhaven Swim | Sport | Fitness supervisor, Kirra has once again showcased her incredible talent, securing multiple podium finishes at the 2025 Australian Pool Lifesaving Championships and taking home gold in the over 20's female category at the Broulee Bay to Breakers Ocean Swim.

Australian Pool Lifesaving Championships success

Held at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre, the event brought together the country's top lifesaving athletes to compete in speed-based rescue events and vital lifesaving skill tests.

Competing against Australia's best, Kirra delivered an outstanding performance, claiming:

  • 2nd place - 100m Manikin Tow (Individual)
  • 2nd place - 4x50m Obstacle Relay
  • 3rd place - 4x25m Manikin Carry Relay
  • 3rd place - 4x50m Medley Relay
  • 3rd place - 8x50m Fin Relay

Conquering the ocean at Broulee Bay to Breakers

Not content with just pool competition, Kirra also dominated in open water racing, securing 1st place in the over 20's female division at the Broulee Bay to Breakers Ocean Swim. This 1.4km open-water race from Shark Bay to South Broulee Beach challenges swimmers with varying conditions, but Kirra proved she was more than up to the task.
